I agree. Something is wrong with Anwar because Nalla who is a pimp left him, Ezam who is a racist left him for your party(BN) and Chandra who is an opportunist (converted to islam to become bumiputra but got rejected)got kicked out.

If I'm not mistaken, he also left the top leader of Keadilan a reasonably long time ago?

A few comments:
1. KL has correctly pointed out the very disturbing blind-loyalty syndrom suffered by most Pakatan's supporters, "So when Ezam, Nalla & Chandra was in KeAdilan they were super pure, when they left KeAdilan they became a pimp, a racist and an opportunist."
This blind spot sooner or later will work against the Pakatans once the hype or euphoria of 308 political tsunami die down in not so distant future.

Difficult to accept, especially when Tan Chee Koon is my idol. I had grown reading his column, Without Fear & Favour.

Subconsciously, I had assumed Tan KK as the son of another political Tan who was from another party.

You said you idolise Tan Chee Koon, why are you in Gerakan? He formed Gerakan, but he being a hero and without fear or favour, he left Gerakan as soon as Gerakan joined UMNO. In 1972, being a true leader, he left Gerakan because he believed they are siding with a racist party that started May 13 incident.
I agree, Tan Chee Koon is my hero too. But you should follow his ways and not Koh Tsu Koon who as we all know is one of the beggar ministers (remember Keng Yaik said non-malay ministers are like beggars 2 months ago?).
You deny Gerakan members are leaving by the masses. Although I have seen it in my own eyes that thousands of Gerakan people joining DAP you will not agree. But thankfully I will quote Malaysiakini article from 6/6/2008:

This is how embarassing Khoon Leng is. Claim to be Gerakan member but doesnt know that his former idol's son is the FT Territory chief and even lie to people here saying he is not the son of the founder.

Malayiakini is bias towards Pakatan Rakyat. I am a subscriber, I don't believe all that are writing there, the same applied to The Star.
I am a grassroot leader, I know what is happening at least in Penang. Yes, some are leaving, but definitely not by the thousands.
I actually prefer those that want to leave, to leave as soon as possible, the more the better. I will help Gerakan to rejuvenate faster.
Why comment on KTK, next year he is 60 years old. He had said recently, that one of his responsibility is to prepare the transition to the younger Gerakanis.
Don't you want to see a new generation of young leaders coming out of Gerakan? Must it be all from the Pakatan Rakyat.
On Tan Chee Koon leaving Gerakan, he is an idealist. Lim Chong Eu, is the pragmatist. My idol is Tan Chee Koon, I can't turn back the time.
On UMNO, no doubt many of their leaders are crooked. I hope their younger leaders will changed and reformed themselves. True Gerakanis do not forsake fellow partners in time of difficulties.

Gerakan FT CHIEF himself accuses KTK and Chia Kwang Chye for bowing to UMNO. When Najib told Dr Tan to leave BN, suddenly Gerakan top leaders ampu Najib (despite him once said he wants to soak his keris in chinese blood) by wanting to suspend Dr Tan. They are scared that dr Tan will win Gerakan election and bring Gerakan to join Pakatan, because Dr Tan feels majority of members want to leave UMNO.

Don't just talk only, must action!
I am not in any political party, so I am speaking my mind as neutral Penangite who usually split my vote (DAP for parliament, Gerakan for state) in Butterworth (bagan dalam and bagan). However this election I voted both for DAP along with most of my Penangite brothers and sisters.
So far I am happy with DAP, especially CM, though other EXCOs are not very impressive, so so only. However for me, national issues matter very much because all the longkang/portholes issues should be councillors and not ADUNs problem.
Some people say DAP was nothing for 39 years, as I remember we always voted in more DAP MPs than Gerakan in Penang. Plus this time 0 Gerakan MPs, DAP never had 0 in Penang from the time I started voting in 1982.
Just something to ponder
