Gerakan grassroot leaders and members need to think in a shrewd manner. If not Pakatan Rakyat which are full of cunning leaders will easily outwit them.
Recently, a building in Hong Seng Estate that was used by Gerakan for decades to provide medical service, community meetings, Barisan Nasional meetings, & other services to the local community was 'seized' by a few Keadilan local leaders.
The building was situated on a land that belong to a private landowner. The landowner had let Gerakan used it for free.
KeAdilan leaders stealthfully approach the landowner & manage to rent the land. Armed with the rental receipt, KeAdilan members removed the signage (BARISAN NASIONAL MEDICAL SERVICE CENTER) from the building with the intention of stopping Gerakan from using the place. A police report was lodged at the Pulau Tikus Police Station.
The Gerakan local leader told me that he considered the building a place for the local community & had even let Pakatan Rakyat members used the place for their meetings. Worst of all, outside gangsters are used to threaten him.
Gerakan had spend over RM20,000 in renovating and maintaining the building over the past few years.
The lesson to learn is Pakatan Rakyat is good at coming from the back - take care of the "backside", if not it will be screwed.

The question I have - Are the RM 20000 being used for renovation comes from Gerakan's members pocket ? If so, you have a case here for debate.
If those funds are from the allocations, then it should go back to the government of the day who needs the place to serve the people.
If Gerakan is a true people's party, then let's think about the benefit of the people and how the rakyat can enjoy some of the benefit. If that means giving up a physical location so that they can be better serve, then be it. If the Pakatan after taking over does not make full use of the facility, then it will actually help Gerakan in the end. So why worry ?
In addition, even if you need to run the clinic under the trees in the Estate, don't be deter. Continue with the effort and the rakyat can see the sincerity in the end. So why complaint ?
You decide whether it is more effetive to complain or focus the work at hands.
The money is from Gerakan members and supporters.
Show proof the money comes from Gerakan members and supporters. Please also make sure your so called members are still members or the supporters are still supporters.
I am saddened that you missed the big picture. A true politician only wanted to ensure the public gets the benefit and not for themselves.
You only see the trees but you missed the whole forest. Is this what most Gerakan Youth is made up of ?
