Penang Goodwill Religious Council & Publicity King

The Malaysian Buddhist Association (MBA) is unhappy over its exclusion from the Penang Goodwill Religious Council (PGRC).

It should not be unhappy!

MBA should consider itself lucky to be left out of (PGRC) as it's another publicity stunt by the Publicity King (Lim Guan Eng is named 'Publicity King' by some of the local reporters)

The real reason Malaysian Buddhist Association is left out from PGRC is because it's deem not bias towards the DAP. If the DAP government was sincere, it would had automatically invited MBA as it's one of the premier religious organization in Penang.

Lim Guan Eng which is a non-Buddhist do not understanding that Buddhists do not mix religion with partisan politics.

During & after GE12, there are Christian churches and Taoist temples that openly supported the DAP, some temples are still flying the DAP flags. No Buddhist organisations or temples did that.

The DAP Penang government senior leaders which are essentially non-Buddhists, should recognize this different between Buddhist organizations and other religious organizations.

Hmmm.... this post is very confusing.

The fact that MBA is unhappy about being excluded means they actually want to be in the PGRC, otherwise they would say that they are happy not to be included. So if being in the PGRC is being involved in partisan politics like you described, then it means MBA actually wants to be involved in partisan politics through PGRC. But then HKL the learned Buddhist has said time and time again that Buddhists do not mix religion with partisan politics.

So who is right here? MBA or you? Surely MBA has more authority on Buddhism than you.

Where HKL is concern, as long as you dont agree with BN, you are wrong.

In Buddhism, this is what I learnt. "Seek to understand instead of being understood." The issue could have easily been resolved by volunteering to participate and unless the PGRC does not welcome MBA, then this will be a real issue.

Hah hah

Trying to twist the point I am making.

It is natural for MBA to be unhappy about its exclusion as it is a premier Buddhist orgn in Pg. I would be surprised if it was not unhappy.

MBA exclusion illustrates Lim Guan Eng formation of the PGRC is insincere, a political gimmick and a tool to gain political mileage thru religion.

Therefore, it is better for MBA to not get involved with PGRC and therefore should not be unhappy over it.

That was Lim Guan Eng answer to cover up after his ill intention become clear.

It is unimaginable to forget to include MBA in a religious council in Penang.

Didn't you say time and time again that Buddhists do not mix religion with partisan politics. So maybe this time LGE got it right and decided to leave out MBA to start with.

So what's your point here,

- LGE is wrong and insincere and it is unimaginable to exclude MBA from PGRC, but

- LGE is also wrong had he included MBA because Buddhists do not mix religion with partisan politics.

Bottom line, according to your logic, LGE is damned if he did and damned if he don't. Make up your mind!

My conclusion, you would simply condemn LGE even when you have no basis, which is typical of what UMNO goons would do.
