General Election Clean Up

It is easy to miss a few election posters or banners here and there. The SPR must be blind to miss one of the biggest election "material" still not removed.

This painting or plastic banner on the rock outcrop in the Bukit Glugor Parliamentary constituency had broken the law.

Unless, the Pakatan Rakyat government insist that Penang is their land now, and they will do whatever they want.

P.S. The history of putting party flag or sign on the hills of Penang started decades ago by the communists. I remember when I was young, the communists will in the cloak of darkness put up their flags, but the security forces will removed them relatively fast.

Not nice meh???

Ok la ok la... I think the election fever is over and DAP should get people to take it down, and take it down carefully so that the banner doesn't drop below and become rubbish.

Jason ang,

Are you not embarassed of your extremely poor english proficiency. Its so disgusting that I would want to slap your khinzir eating father of yours. Or are you one of the rare breed of gerakan pigs (like keng yaik) who can pronounce some words albeit massively wrong. Enough la, shut your UMNO dog mouth, thats why all your top leaders have left. Malu aje khinzir ini.

hi pembasmi khinzir,

You need NOT criticize or express of something based on perceived fault(s) or mistake(s). Everyone is learning, including you and me! Anyway, he's seen active in blogging and "brave enough" to indicate his id. As such, his sincerity is noted... You... sorry yet to see...

At the same time, please mind your words!

對不起,我以前沒讀書,英文不好,只能用華語留言。

你不要說行動黨了,我也有看到國陣的宣傳海報還沒拆下來的。

當自己在講別人的時候,也要先看看自己。

Jason, are you telling me that Gerakan doesn't do such things? No posters or banners? Are you kidding me??

All political parties HAVE to show off to a certain degree. Politics is as much publicity as the actual good work. You can do all the good work but if there's no media coverage (ie nobody knows) then you are not called politicians, you'll be called social workers. Which are you?

Yes of course we put up posters, banners, streamers, billboards, buntings, flags, etc during the election.

But, we removed them soon after the election. We could miss a few of them, but not such a BIG item.

I was the operations director for one area in Tanjong, Sdra. Veon the losing candidate called me at least 3 times to check whether all these election materials was properly removed.

Fishhook & Tongkai, if you condone law breaking by the DAP, just said so. Do not find excuse for them.

If there are such big BN banner in the hills let me know, I will personally removed them.

Eh.. why me pulak? In my first comment I already said DAP should take it down so why say I condone law breaking pulak??

now they are govt. so they can do what ever they want. They forgot their commitment before 308 already. If any one got the recording just bring out and show to every one. cos they think easy to be a govt. last time they always bang n push X govt to do thing, so that the X govt can do more. Now we need to do that to them also act like them, how they bang the X govt, we bang them back. so that Penang can grow faster n harmony. This is a fair game. if you cant just leave ...........ok.

HKL,

If I'm not mistaken, it was a Malaysia flag before. Suddenly it becomes a DAP one pula... I don't really realize when was it changed.

Just to recall, new CM said Penang belongs to the rakyat... rather than DAP. It becomes a contradiction, within 3 months?

Ok, no choice la... if they're not prepared to take it down.

HKL,

Since you seems to have the resources to find facts out, actually who's land does that rock belong to? Is it state land or private?

If it is private land, can the owner leave the banner on if he wants to?

Fishhook,

I am actually not in Penang. Attending a family wedding and having a short holiday with my family. I use Celcom for most of my posts.

I will try to find out when I am back.

Asian-fellow may have a point, it could be originally our country flag. Hope I am wrong. I remember seeing a Malaysian flag and the Astro advert on our hills. Now, the Astro advert is still there, but our country flag is missing.

I am not sure whether it is the same rock outcrop. I will also try to find out.
