How often do you go back to Malacca?

A Malaysiakini reporter ask Lim Guan Eng this question:-

There are so many things on your plate. How do you juggle all the tasks? How often do you go back to Malacca?

I don’t go back. I only passed through once during Ching Ming, the All Souls Day, but I have not gone back since then (the elections).

I think the answer should be as followed:
I don't want to go back. I better passed through only, no choice , the Malacca DAP boys don't like me. But, I have not gone back then (the elections) as I have a grand new place to enjoy myself in Penang.

In 2005, Lim Guan Eng was defeated in his campaign for re-election to the Melaka DAP committee when he and his wife came in last and second-last (respectively). However, as Lim remained Secretary-General of the party, he was automatically included among the committee under the party constitution. Although his wife remained the chief of the state DAP women's wing, she was not included in the committee (this info is from Lim Guan Eng's wikipedia).

why all this personal attacks on him?

Stick to criticizing him and his team on their policies and implementation and not his personal life. That would be more constructive.

But then again.. this is a personal blog and I know it feels good to bash the opposition some times... so go ahead and bash away until you are satisfied. :)

Fishhook: & atos:

It is so easy to criticize any person.

One wrong move or one wrong word that person can be criticized.

Even, if he do the right thing or said the right word, it can be twisted.

In nearly all Pakatan Rakyat supporter blogs, most if not all BN leaders have became the DEVIL.

Some of my postings are mere rhetorics but if you are able to read between the lines and ask pertinent questions, you will understand the message I want to convey.

Unfortunately, rhetoric sells.

A number of "personal attacks" are being noticed on the papers nowadays. I hope to see more constructive and effective talks on the state development.

Can somebody tells me what has the new state government done so far for the betterment of our state?

The new state government should brief us the Penanites what are steps to be taken, to make Penang as a leading state in Malaysia or in the region?

Improvement on security? no more bike-racing somewhere Bayan Lepas? which are the factories are ready to invest in Penang (for jobs opportunities)? traffic flow? no more racial problems in Penang? export volume increase?

Dear new state government, NO MORE PUBLICITY RELATED SHOWS, PLEASE!

ACT ON EFFECTIVELY FOR THE STATE & PROVE GOOD RESULT, PLEASE!

NO MORE TALKS ON "PROBLEMS" IN THE PAPERS AND OVERCOME THE THOSE, PLEASE!

You may be asking for sufficient time, but sorry many of us are reasonably old and cannot afford to give you more time...

Good Luck, New State Government!
